Welcome to BLEED ON IT Supper Club 001!

This is a really exciting moment for us. Food is one of our favourite ways to get together so it only made sense to organise an event for our growing community, with the theme of Menstrual Cycle Awareness at the forefront.

The evening will be hosted by Founder of BLEED ON IT, Robyn Wilton. Robyn is an Arts Council funded, menstrual cycle awareness advocate, using her online platform to harness a community that informs on, and champions the Menstrual Cycle for all that associate with having one.

Robyn has collaborated with chef’s Nicole Haines (E5 Bakehouse) & Scott Pattinson (YAMM) to curate a series of 4 nutritious, 3 course menus inspired by the 4 ‘Seasons’ of the menstrual cycle.
Each menu is designed to support and optimise the hormonal shifts within an average menstrual cycle (more on this on the night!)

All options across the 4 menu’s will be available for you to try on the night via a communal feast. See photo above to see what we will be serving up.

~ INFO ~

Date: Friday 20th May 2022
Location:
De Beauvoir Block, 92-96 De Beauvoir Road, N1 4EN
Time: 18:30 - 21:45 (Food will be served from 19:00)

Pricing:
We are now self-funded and have lots of ideas on how we can get this conversation out into the community!
We have priced the event at £55 a head however, if you have the means or feel to donate into our Community Kitty, this will enable us to take our menu into community spaces to host workshops and cook-a-longs with vulnerable women, girls and people with periods. We all deserve access to this information!
Please see below for what your ticket includes:

  • 4 specially designed, 3 course meals, presented as a self-serve feast.

  • Minimum 2 glasses of wine and (Punchy) soft drinks also available

  • A live performance by incredible Bristol based singer-songwriter @chazzytunes

  • A fun-fact packed quiz on all things Menstrual Cycle! This is a fun way to open up discussion around our individual experiences and test our knowledge! (Disclaimer - there will be no expectation on you to share your experiences if you do not want to!)

  • Quiz teams will be groups of 5 - a great opportunity to meet some other amazing women, or come in your winning team!

  • Prizes for the winning team of the quiz (think Ayuverdic massage, a pilates subscription and more)

While this event is specifically for women + people with periods, this time we are working with Head Chef, Scott Pattinson, from YAMM cafe. Due to the design of our venue, there is an open kitchen so he will be visibly part of the event. Scott is a wonderful ally and supporter of BLEED ON IT, he has had a huge input into the menu design and we trust him wholly. However if this deters you from joining us, we understand and hope you can join us at the next Supper Club.

Please let us know of any non-listed allergies that you may have, and send over an email to info@bleedonit.com with the group names that you are coming with if you wish to be seated together.

We can’t wait to see you around the table x
